InterAgency Board For Equipment Standardization and Interoperability (IAB)
The IAB is a voluntary working group of first responders and subject matter experts guided by a mission to strengthen the nation's ability to prepare for and respond safely and effectively to emergencies, disasters, and CBRNE incidents. The IAB is comprised of a wide array of professional disciplines from across all levels of government and all sectors of society. To accomplish its mission, the IAB depends on its members, who enable the IAB to be trusted as an authoritative, representative, and valid repository of field perspective, operational knowledge, and technical expertise. International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)
The IAFF is the driving force behind nearly every advance in the fire and emergency services in the 20th century. The IAFF is the primary advocate for providing fire fighters and paramedics with the tools they need to perform their jobs.
National Sheriffs' Association
Chartered in 1940, the National Sheriffs' Association is a professional association dedicated to serving the Office of Sheriff and its affiliates through education, training, and information resources. NSA represents thousands of sheriffs, deputies and other law enforcement, public safety professionals, and concerned citizens nationwide.
Through the years, NSA has provided programs for Sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police, and others in the field of criminal justice to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better serve the people of their cities, counties or jurisdictions.
National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA)
The National Tactical Officer's Association works to enhance the performance and professional status of law enforcement personnel by providing a credible and proven training resource as well as a forum for the development of tactics and information exchange. The Association’s ultimate goal is to improve public safety and domestic security through training, education and tactical excellence.
International Association of Emergency Managers
IAEM-USA, the nation's largest emergency management professional association, is a non-profit professional organization representing more than 4,500 emergency management and homeland security professionals for local communities, state and federal disaster officials, private sector, non-governmental organizations and others involved in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from all types of disasters including acts of terrorism.

Interagency Council for Applied Homeland Security Technology
The "Interagency Council for Applied Homeland Security Technology" (ICAHST) is an ad hoc council of organizations involved in the information technology issues of Homeland Security, Law Enforcement and Counterterrorism. The primary mission of ICAHST is to identify, investigate and assist in the implementation of new science and technology to improve the nation's capabilities in counterterrorism and homeland security.
Currently chaired by Bart Johnson, the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Intelligence for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), ICAHST is a forum where government organizations and other entities dealing with these issues meet and share research needs, results and lessons learned. This group — which was established in April 2004 — has participants from over fifty organizations and is currently focused on critical incident technologies including state and local law enforcement information sharing. ICAHST recently published the second edition of its "Long Term Research Needs" document.
National Alliance for Public Safety GIS Foundation
The National Alliance for Public Safety GIS Foundation (NAPSG) is dedicated to supporting the public safety and homeland security communities in the advancing the use of geospatial technology as a platform for mission critical information sharing in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.
NAPSG achieves its mission through effective and nation-wide regional coordination that involves local & state public safety leaders supporting all of NAPSG's core programs: education & training, information clearinghouse, and technical assistance.
National Emergency Management Association (NEMA)
NEMA is the professional association of and for emergency management directors from all 50 states, eight territories, and the District of Columbia.
NEMA provides national leadership and expertise in comprehensive emergency management; serves as a vital emergency management information and assistance resource; and advances continuous improvement in emergency management through strategic partnerships, innovative programs, and collaborative policy positions.

The National Bomb Squad Commanders Advisory Board (NBSCAB)
NBSCAB serves as the leadership element of the U.S. Bomb Squad program, giving strong advice to Federal agencies that support bomb squads regarding important bomb squad related issues and acting as the final decision making authority on guidelines and standards for the profession.
The vision of NBSCAB is to develop unified perspective, maximizing the capabilities of bomb squads and supporting agencies at the federal, state, and local levels; to collectively provide maximum service to the public through the development of bomb squad organizations and professionals that are trained, equipped, informed, and in every way prepared to meet their mission of defeating improvised devices of all designs and configurations.
